We size the system for your house

A load calculation, not a rule of thumb. Getting the size right matters more in El Paso than almost anywhere, because the system has to hold temperature through a genuinely punishing summer.

An oversized air conditioner cools the air quickly, shuts off, and leaves the house feeling clammy because it never runs long enough to pull moisture out. An undersized one runs continuously in August and still never catches up. Both cost you money and both are avoidable by measuring the house properly: square footage, insulation, window area and orientation, ceiling height and duct condition.

What happens on installation day

  1. We protect the work area

Floors and walkways covered before anything comes in or out.

  2. The old system comes out

Removed and taken away, and the refrigerant recovered properly.

  3. The new system goes in

Set, connected, and the ductwork adapted where it needs to be.

  4. We commission and test it

Charge, airflow and temperature split measured and documented, then we walk you through the thermostat before we leave.

Paying for the work

You get an estimate before any work starts, and special financing is available through Wells Fargo on new systems. We will walk you through the payment routes that apply to your job before you decide anything. See the financing options.

Installation questions we get asked

What size air conditioner does my El Paso home need?

It depends on square footage, insulation, window area and orientation, ceiling height and the condition of your ductwork, not on a rule of thumb per square foot. We run a load calculation during the visit. Oversized systems short cycle and leave the house humid; undersized ones never catch up in August.

How long does an AC installation take?

A straightforward replacement is usually a one-day job. Installations that involve new or reworked ductwork, electrical changes or a conversion from an evaporative cooler take longer, and we will tell you the realistic timeline during the quote rather than on the day.

Do you remove and dispose of the old system?

Yes. The old equipment is removed and taken away as part of the job, and refrigerant is recovered properly.
